Your new job working as a Senior Account Handler/Technician will be working for an established Global Lloyd's Brokers who employ over 700 employees around the world and have a global footprint across more than 150 countries. Your new broker has cemented their place as a top 10 contributor to Lloyd’s. They understand the importance of being client-focused and are growing in all areas, now considered an employer of choice. Due to expansion within the North American property team, a permanent role for a Senior Account Handler / Technician has arisen. Your new role will involve providing open-market technical support in the team on Insurance/Reinsurance, single-slip/multi-layered programmes, including catastrophe-exposed areas. You will be responsible for day-to-day client servicing, from initial submission of risks to handover to the technical team for invoicing. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing a renewal presentation to brokers to underwriters.
  • Preparing Open Market Reform Contracts including endorsements and any adjustments, working in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring conditions and terms of cover in response to client’s needs.
  • Producing client documentation and ensuring Contract Certainty.
  • Preparing statistical analysis, including loss runs where necessary.
  • Undertaking any other responsibilities necessary for the proper performance of the role.

In order to succeed in this role, you must have experience producing North American Open Market Property documentation to include MRC slips. Ideally, you should have working knowledge of Crystal and be able to use it where appropriate, as well as Electronic Placement systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes, including Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Total Objects/GXB is required. You should be able to manage your workload and act independently, possessing strong communication skills and an understanding of the importance of relationship building.

Please only apply if you have experience of producing and handling Open Market North American Property documentation, MRC slips, and ideally have experience using Crystal.

You will receive a generous package of up to c.£110,000, plus excellent pension and benefits. You will receive support from directors. This is an excellent opportunity within a collaborative, forward-thinking, and dynamic team where you will get fantastic exposure to the market. This role will be based 5 days a week in the office.
