One of the UK’s leading practices is currently seeking an experienced Masterplanner to join their London studio. The studio is a top 25 practice with recent awards for their expertise within sustainability, innovation, as well as their culture and people-focused initiatives. They have multiple UK offices which work collaboratively as one team, structured by sector, sharing expertise and resources.
The practice is particularly busy with high-profile projects with the UK government, and this appointment would play a key part in these expansive schemes. They are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated, well-organised individual to form an integral part. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head of Masterplanning and an experienced in-house team to manage and deliver high-quality project outputs. You’ll also play a key part in driving the growth of this specialist area, while supporting multidisciplinary designers across the whole business.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Experience working in a UK masterplanning/architecture/landscape architectural design practice.
- Leading current and future projects with in-house and external teams.
- Strong technical capability and understanding of UK legislation and guidance in relation to submission of outline applications.
- Self-motivated with a passion for design, the quality of the environment and a client-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills and experience of creating community and stakeholder engagement content.
- A strong understanding of urban design principles.
- Relevant post-graduate and professional qualifications.
- Knowledge of Revit, Adobe suite of apps, and Excel.
