Your new company is a challenger firm in the Forensic market, a global leader in Expert services, providing independent advice and expert witness/testimony to corporates, the public sector, law firms, financial services, and government agencies. The firm is continuing to build out their Forensic offering globally and is looking to add to the London-based European team.

Your new role involves working on complex and challenging valuation and damages assessment engagements from around the world. This is an opportunity to be part of a growth presence in the global Forensic market, with projects that typically compete with the Big 4 and other major firms. You will manage a diverse range of work, including:

  • Valuations & Contentious Valuations
  • Economic Damages
  • Loss of Profits
  • Business Interruption
  • Transaction and shareholder disputes
  • Fraud Investigations

Additionally, you will be:

  • Drafting sections of expert reports; occasionally drafting whole reports on smaller cases
  • Managing some interactions with clients
  • Participating in business development activities, e.g., attending networking events
  • Training and developing colleagues

While your Ukrainian language skills will be utilised in current and potentially future cases, it won’t dominate your role, and you’ll work on cases generated from all over the world.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Ideally, your degree will be in a quantitative subject like accounting, finance, economics, or business/management
  • Strong academic background
  • Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in Forensic Disputes/Litigation or Contentious Valuations
  • A strategic thinker, comfortable working through ambiguity
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ukrainian as a 1st or 2nd language combined with full fluency in English
  • If Russian is spoken additionally, that would be an advantage
  • A "people person" who genuinely enjoys team culture
