As a Finance Systems Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering finance transformation initiatives and managing change within the organisation’s finance systems. This position involves working closely with finance and technology teams globally to ensure system integrity and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with Finance and Tech teams to implement system upgrades and improvements.
- Managing finance systems data, mappings, and hierarchy tables to maintain data integrity.
- Leading financial transformation projects, including testing and production rollout.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts across multiple regions and liaising with external implementation partners.
- Creating clear, concise project documentation and capturing business requirements.
What you’ll need to succeed:
To excel in this role, you must be a qualified accountant with strong technical skills and the ability to work autonomously. Candidates must have experience in system implementation or system integration. Experience within finance systems such as SAP or Oracle is required. They ideally want someone to start ASAP, so if you are immediately available or available on shorter notice, that would be advantageous. They are happy to wait for those on 3 months notice for the right candidate.
