You will join a specialist Employment & Pensions team, managing a varied caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Responsibilities include advising on issues such as misconduct, grievances, TUPE, restructures, and industrial relations, as well as handling Employment Tribunal litigation. You will also draft and negotiate settlement agreements, deliver client training, and support complex projects. This role offers scope to develop a niche specialism alongside your general practice and to engage in business development activities.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 4+ years’ PQE in Employment Law (guideline only – more experienced candidates will be considered)
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage client relationships
- Proven ability to prioritise and manage a busy caseload effectively
- Desirable: experience in pensions law, social housing, data protection, or investigations
