Your new role involves working as part of an established and successful Ecology team. You will have the opportunity to lead on projects and be involved across the whole lifecycle from conception through to completion. You will be reporting into either Bristol, London or Warrington on office days; however, you will have the chance to work from home and perform site visits across the UK.
Main duties could include:
- Undertake a range of ecological surveys including species and habitat
- Lead on smaller ecological projects
- Perform surveys in varying locations
- Technical report writing and support on EcIAs
- Client liaising
- Help to prepare fee proposals
What you'll need to succeed:
- Proven experience in an ecological consultancy
- Experience with ecological project delivery including field work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of relevant UK environmental legislation
- Understanding of BNG
- UK driving license
- Botanical skills (ideal)
