Your new role
As a Category Manager – Contingent Workforce, you will lead procurement strategies across global markets. This role covers the full sourcing lifecycle—from market analysis and strategy development to negotiation and contract execution. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on market trends, supplier strategies, and compliance considerations, while driving commercial excellence in deals involving Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Vendor Management Systems (VMS). You’ll run market tenders, evaluate bids, negotiate competitive terms, and draft contracts aligned with client needs. You’ll also analyse large datasets to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve supplier performance, and contribute to category planning through market intelligence. Building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders will be key, as will mentoring junior team members and sharing knowledge across teams.
