A successful, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Central London are seeking an experienced Audit Director or Senior Manager to join the firm's growing audit division. The firm works with a number of start-ups, high growth businesses, global groups and individuals to provide accounting, audit and tax advice services. The firm is a member of a successful international network and works closely with various UK subsidiaries of larger international groups.
In your new role as an Audit Director you will:
- Manage the day to day operations of the audit department, whilst reporting back to the corporate audit partners.
- Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of audit assignments to deliver a high quality service.
- Act as the main point of contact for client enquiries & be confident in offering advice to clients when needed.
- Identify new business opportunities with new and existing clients; help to increase the client portfolio.
- Mentor and develop members of the audit team.
- Drive growth and improvement throughout the team.
To succeed in this position, you will be ACA or ACCA qualified with a proven track record of successfully managing an audit portfolio. You will possess strong leadership skills to ensure engagements are completed within budget and accurately. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client and colleague relationships. Ideally you will have or will be able to obtain RI status.
