Our client is a well-respected claimant firm with offices nationwide. They are recruiting for an EL/PL solicitor or chartered legal executive to join their Liverpool office on a hybrid working basis. You will handle a range of litigated and non-litigated EL/PL claims.
This EL/PL Solicitor/CILEX role will see you:
- Manage your own caseload of litigated and non-litigated employer’s liability and public liability claims, primarily within the portal and pre-action protocol stages.
- Evaluate liability and quantum, review medical evidence, and prepare detailed schedules of special damages.
- Deliver clear legal advice to clients and insurers, ensuring regular communication and effective expectation management.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including medical experts, investigators, and rehabilitation providers.
- Drive timely case progression in accordance with the Pre-Action Protocol for lower-value personal injury claims and internal SLAs.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records using case management systems.
- Support team objectives by achieving financial and productivity targets.
- Act as an authorised person when required.
You must be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive who has already obtained or is working towards litigation rights. Previous experience handling your own caseload of litigated and non-litigated EL/PL claims is essential. Understanding of the EL/PL portal and pre-litigation process is required, along with excellent client care and communication skills.
