The Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of major mechanical packages across diverse construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative organisation known for its quality, reliability, and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all mechanical aspects of projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
  • Attend project start-up meetings
  • Collate and manage technical submittals
  • Oversee labour management
  • Prepare and update weekly progress reports, managing any changes or variations
  • Liaise with main contractors, subcontractors, and client site teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Coordinate procurement, delivery, and installation of all mechanical plant and equipment
  • Ensure materials and resources are available to meet project timelines
  • Implement and manage construction and commissioning programmes
  • Oversee handover documentation and maintain the project document management system
  • Attend site and subcontractor meetings, ensuring all actions are completed
  • Identify and communicate any project innovations or improvements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale building services projects.
  • Qualification in Construction or Project Management (preferred).
  • Strong people management and team supervision experience.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
