As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will play an integral role within a non-performing corporate tax team, supporting a varied portfolio of corporate clients with both compliance and advisory work. You will act as a key contact for clients, working closely with internal stakeholders to plan and deliver tax services efficiently and to a high standard. The role offers exposure to a broad range of technical areas including corporation tax compliance, group reorganisations, R&D tax relief, capital allowances, transfer pricing and international tax matters, as well as the opportunity to support transactions, restructurings and advisory projects. You will also be involved in mentoring and supporting junior team members as part of your ongoing development.
To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience working in corporate tax within a professional services environment, ideally at Assistant Manager level or equivalent. You will be part-qualified or qualified (ACA, ACCA or CTA) with a solid grounding in UK corporation tax compliance and a genuine interest in advisory work. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines and confidence in working directly with clients are essential, as is a collaborative approach and willingness to support and develop junior colleagues.
