Hays Education are currently recruiting EYFS, KS1 & KS2 Teachers to work at schools in the Swale and surrounding areas on a supply basis. Supply teaching offers a flexible working environment with the option to work on either a day-to-day supply or long-term basis, some of which can lead to a permanent job.
Hays is currently seeking teachers that hold QTS. You may be experienced or newly qualified looking to gain experience. You will be working in a number of different schools and must be able to provide them with an outstanding service which is important to the overall running of the schools, their teaching and learning standards.
As a supply teacher, you will be working with a variety of primary schools across Swale, covering Sittingbourne and the Isle of Sheppey. The primary teacher roles we offer will require you to have previous, recent experience within a primary school, and you will need to be comfortable teaching in new classrooms on a regular basis. We can offer you day-to-day, short-term contracts or long-term positions.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- To register with Hays, you must be passionate and driven, with a strong desire to be a successful teacher.
- A minimum of 2 months of teaching experience in the past 4 years (this can include university placements).
- You have the right to work in the UK.
- You must have QTS.
- If you don’t have QTS or recent teaching experience, you can register as a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor, provided you have worked with children for 1 month in the past 4 years.
- We welcome applicants who are currently working for other agencies.
