I am representing a Blue Light Service in Kent that is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to join their Estates & Facilities team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving critical infrastructure that supports essential public services.

Your new role:

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues across estate facilities
  • Oversee mechanical and electrical projects from inception to hand over
  • Ensure statutory compliance and uphold health & safety standards
  • Manage projects and maintain financial control
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and operational colleagues

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • BTEC HNC/HND in a relevant discipline (essential)
  • Significant experience in building services, ideally from a public sector non-housing background
  • Strong health & safety knowledge
  • Experience with statutory compliance
  • Desirable: Degree-level qualification and CAD experience

Applicants must have lived in the UK continuously for the last three years and hold the right to work without restrictions. Security vetting will be required.
