Your new company is a commercial facilities contractor looking for a HVAC Engineer to join their team on a temporary or permanent basis to replace a recent retiree. Ideally based in South Yorkshire or Lincolnshire areas. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8-5. Salary/rate negotiable, Pension, Life assurance.

Your new role involves undertaking the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment. This includes service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps. You may also be required to work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets/multideck or ice machines. You will be expected to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections, reports, and remedial work. You'll be working on large retail stores and banks.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment.
  • Relevant qualifications FGAS & ODS regulations, time served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working.
  • A driving licence.
  • Openness to work an on-call rota 1 in 6/1 in 7 weeks.
