We have a number of roles available and are seeking committed and adaptable Qualified Teachers (QTS) to provide day-to-day cover across a range of subjects at our thriving secondary school in the HD9 area of Huddersfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled educator looking for flexible work while making a meaningful contribution to students’ learning.
About the Role:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning in the absence of the regular class teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Support students’ progress and wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with departmental and support staff
About You:
- Fully qualified (QTS required)
- Confident delivering lessons across a range of subjects (specialism welcome but not essential)
- Flexible, reliable, and able to work at short notice
- Skilled at behaviour management and building rapport with students
- Professional, organised, and committed to safeguarding
