Your new nursery: You will be working for Hays as bank staff where you will be placed in various settings including primary schools and nurseries. You will be working with children aged 3 months to 11 years, which can be tailored to your preferences. You will be able to work in your desired location in Heathfield and work around your own commitments. When the nurseries and schools are open we are inundated with work and will be able to provide you with as much or as little as you need.
Your new role: As nursery and school bank staff you will be expected to support settings, working where required; supporting the other nursery and school staff, helping set up and tidy the room, playing with the children and ensuring the environment is safe at all times. You won't be expected to complete any learning diaries, so this is a great opportunity to gain confidence and learn new skills. The role as a temporary practitioner means you have complete flexibility over the days you would like to work week by week.
What you'll need to succeed: We are looking for ideally level 2 or level 3 qualified teaching assistants/early years practitioners. However, we are open to unqualified candidates that have recent relevant experience that can be referenced. You will need to be reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic; the nurseries that you are placed in will expect you to be hands-on and willing to help out in the setting.
