Nursery Bank Staff required across Hailsham, Heathfield and Eastbourne.
Your new nursery: You will be working for Hays as early years bank staff where you will be placed in various settings. You will be working with children aged 3 months to 5 years, which can be tailored to your preferences. You will be able to work in your desired location across Eastbourne, Hailsham and Heathfield and work around your own commitments. When the nurseries are typically open we are inundated with work and will be able to provide you with as much or as little as you need.
Your new role: As nursery bank staff you will be expected to support the early years settings, working where required; supporting the other nursery staff, helping set up and tidy the room, playing with the children and ensuring the environment is safe at all times. You won't be expected to complete any learning diaries, so this is a great opportunity to gain confidence and learn new skills.
What you'll need to succeed: We are looking for ideally level 2 or level 3 qualified early years practitioners, however we are open to unqualified nursery assistants having recent relevant experience that can be referenced. You will need to be reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic; the nurseries that you are placed in will expect you to be hands-on and willing to help out in the setting.
