This company is going through rapid growth and has a newly created requirement for a Learning and Development Manager to lead the Training and Development Team of 5. This L&D Manager role will give you the chance to shape and embed a firm-wide learning strategy from the ground up.
Your new Role
As Learning & Development Manager, you’ll lead a team of five and work closely with senior stakeholders to design and deliver impactful training programmes for everyone—from Apprentices to the Leadership team. Your mission is to align learning initiatives with our core values and strategic goals, ensuring compliance while driving engagement and capability development.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement an L&D strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead cultural initiatives, embedding company values into all training
- Build and manage a high-performing L&D team
- Design and deliver blended learning solutions (in-person, virtual, e-learning)
- Oversee apprenticeship levy strategy and maximise its impact
- Manage and enhance our Learning Management System (LMS)
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements
- Partner with HR and Talent teams to support onboarding and career development
- Track training effectiveness through KPIs and manage the L&D budget
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience leading an L&D function in a fast-paced or scaling environment
- Expertise in designing and delivering leadership and professional development programmes
- Strong digital learning skills and LMS management experience
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a regulated or audited environment
- Strategic thinker with hands-on delivery capability
