We're delighted to be exclusively partnered with a successful SME based in North Cambridgeshire as they look to appoint an Interim Financial Controller for a circa 3-month period, with the potential for the role to be permanent in the future. You would be joining a company with a stable history and well-established team.
In your role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of day-to-day finance, including management and financial accounts preparation, VAT returns and audit work, as well as overseeing a small team and providing financial reports to the Director team. There will also be the opportunity to review processes and identify areas to make improvements that tidy up the running of the accounting function and deliver more timely and accurate results in the future.
In order to be successful, we're looking for an experienced Financial Controller/Finance Manager who is confident delivering accurate results to timescales, demonstrated through a proven track record of this in previous roles. It's also key that you have a positive, open-minded approach to your work, as you will be joining a small team where duties can be varied, so flexibility is crucial.
In return, you will get the opportunity to join a close-knit, welcoming team in a role that will start as an interim position, but does have the potential to be permanent. This role comes with an hourly rate of between Β£27 - Β£33 per hour, hybrid working options (1β2 days per week from home) and there is free parking available on site.
