Hays are partnering with our clients in Elgin to recruit an office administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is full-time hours, working from Monday to Friday with an early finish on a Friday and on an ongoing temporary basis, likely for 2–3 months. This role is full-time in an office which is located centrally in Elgin and has parking.

The role of office administrator is to provide support to a busy office and team. You will be responsible for answering calls, managing the email inbox, where you will action all requests and queries quickly. You will work with the team to prepare reports, documentation and items to be mailed out to clients and business partners. This role will see you use Microsoft Packages daily and use an internal CRM system for day-to-day administration. You'll assist with invoicing, raising purchase orders and document management. This role is based fully in the office, and hours are from Monday to Friday.

In order to be successful in this role, you'll have excellent communication skills, strong IT skills and an ability to work with little supervision. You'll be well-organised and proactive. This position is quite varied, working to support the needs of the team around you. You'll greet clients on the phone and in person, so you must be comfortable interacting with people in a front-of-house capacity. Ideally, you will be locally based in Elgin and able to work in the office every day as this role does not offer hybrid working.

This role offers an immediate start and will run for 2–3 months. There may be an opportunity for this role to be extended or to be permanent based on excellent performance. You will be paid weekly via Hays, receive a competitive hourly rate of pay, accrue holiday allowances and be supported by your Hays consultant. It's an ideal opportunity to start a new administration role in Elgin quickly.
