Our client is a large main contractor who are in the process of commencing a large refurbishment project in Edinburgh. This project is city centre-based and, with hybrid working available, it will appeal to a candidate who loves being based on a busy site but with the opportunity to work from home as well.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting to a well-respected and learned Senior Quantity Surveyor who you have the opportunity to learn from and develop your QS skill set towards being a Senior QS in the future. This project is a large £30 million refurbishment, so you will be working on the procurement initially of internally focused trade packages. Once the project gets fully up and running, you will take ownership of some of the key packages and support the Senior QS in the delivery of the high-profile project. Our client is seeking to build on their existing supply chain and establish a positive work environment, so paying subbies in a timely and efficient manner is critical to this project.
