Are you passionate about supporting young minds and making a real difference in the classroom? We’re looking for a dedicated, energetic, and caring KS2 Teaching Assistant to join the fantastic team at a Specialist SEND School in Disley on a permanent basis. This school specialises in education and care for children aged 7–19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including ASC, ADHD, and SEMH. Their multi-disciplinary team works seamlessly to support pupils who have experienced adversity, trauma, and associated mental health challenges, helping them thrive and succeed.

Location: Disley, SK12

Salary: £23,490 – £24,246 DOE

Contract: Term Time Only – Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 8:30 - 16:30 (Non-negotiable)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons to a small class of 7 pupils (one of which receives 1:1 support)
  • Providing in-class support for individual students and small groups
  • Creating a fun, positive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Developing and implementing bespoke interventions for students in partnership with teaching staff
