About the Role

Hays Education is working in partnership with a range of primary schools across Barking & Dagenham to recruit enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, following school policies and curriculum guidelines.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil learning and wellbeing.
  • Adapt quickly to new settings, building strong relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Uphold safeguarding and behaviour management policies consistently.
  • Provide feedback to schools to ensure continuity of learning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in UK primary schools.
  • Confidence and flexibility to teach across different year groups.
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage pupils effectively.
  • A proactive, professional approach with excellent communication skills.
