This primary school in Dagenham is seeking a talented and ambitious Key Stage 2 Teacher to join the team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about delivering high quality teaching and securing excellent outcomes for pupils. For the right candidate, there is also the possibility of a TLR2a for taking on Mathematics Subject Lead responsibilities. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who demonstrate strong potential.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong experience and knowledge of teaching in Key Stage 2
- Excellent understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment procedures
- A proven record of, or commitment to, outstanding teaching and pupil progress
- The ability to plan, deliver and develop engaging and inspiring lessons
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- The ability to motivate pupils, staff and parents through high expectations and positive example
- Resilience and adaptability in managing innovation, challenge and change
- Experience supporting pupils transitioning from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2
- A strong appreciation of the role of a school at the heart of its community
