Coventry City Council is seeking HCPC-registered Educational Psychologists to support the completion of EHC Needs Assessments as part of an Associate Educational Psychologist project. The service currently has a number of Early Years assessments awaiting completion.
This is a flexible, remote role offering long-term allocations and the ability to negotiate your preferred schedule. While most work can be completed remotely, face-to-face assessments are preferred where possible to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
You will be able to:
- Work within agreed quality standards and timelines.
- Liaise with families, educational settings, and professionals from other agencies.
- Provide timely psychological advice and maintain accurate records.
Location: Coventry City Council
Remote (with some face-to-face assessments)
Contract: Rolling contract for adhoc assessments
Pay: From £1,200 per assessment (outside IR35) Approx. £600 per day (2 days allocated per case)
What you’ll need to succeed:
- HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist.
- Recent UK experience in assessment work.
- Ability to complete at least one assessment per month.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Willingness to visit children and families in Coventry where required.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
