A growing and dynamic business based in Chesterfield is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their busy and expanding sales department. This is a newly created role due to continued growth and offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and fast-paced team.
As Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the internal sales function and ensuring excellent customer service. Reporting to a busy Sales Director and working closely with the wider sales team, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently using SAP
- Producing complex customer quotations
- Intermediate level Excel needed (including V look up)
- Providing updates to customers on order status and delivery timelines
- Supporting commercial administration and internal sales processes
- Handling customer queries and building strong business relationships
- Producing sales reports and analysis using Excel
- Assisting with customer engagement and internal reporting
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a sales administration or internal sales support role
- Strong order processing and quote production skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Good working knowledge of Excel for reporting and data analysis
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems (desirable)
- A proactive and organised approach with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
