An established construction and maintenance contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to support pricing and tendering activity across a broad range of maintenance, refurbishment, and construction projects. The role will involve preparing accurate and competitive estimates for projects of varying size and complexity, working closely with internal delivery and commercial teams. This is a stable position within a business with an ongoing pipeline of works and long-term opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, and site information to prepare cost estimates
- Carry out measurements and take-offs from drawings and information provided
- Prepare tender pricing and cost breakdowns to support bid submissions
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
- Work with internal teams to ensure pricing is accurate and commercially viable
- Assist with tender handover and clarification of pricing assumptions
- Manage multiple pricing exercises while working to deadlines
- Maintain awareness of material, labour, and subcontract market rates
Experience & Skills
