Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Early Life Support (ELS) Engineer to assist with the Client Migration Phase 2 project at Beachley Barracks. This is an onsite role focused on migration setup, refresh clinics, and post-migration support.
Location: Beachley Barracks – Chepstow NP16 7YG
Rate: An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of £ OR £ a Hays Approved Umbrella company.
Contract Length: 16th Feb 2026 – 3rd Mar 2026
Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri 09:00 - 17:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Support migration setup and refresh clinic activities
- Move required devices from onsite storage to refresh clinic as instructed.
- Log in to systems using devices provided under contractor engineer guidance.
- Refresh laptops and update workflow management system at all relevant steps.
- Seek guidance from Post Migration Technical Support Specialist and Site Manager as needed.
- Assist with daily manual stock checks and report findings
- Secure devices in onsite storage at the end of each day
Key Requirements:
- Must be SC Cleared
- Strong understanding of IT refresh and migration processes
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with engineers and site managers
- Good communication and reporting skills
