Support a major public sector organisation in the recruitment of a Capital Project Manager to join their Estates team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a significant capital programme spanning new build, refurbishment and estate improvement projects across a diverse property portfolio. Working within a professional estates function, you will lead the delivery of multiple construction projects simultaneously, managing budgets, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Your new role:

  • Lead the delivery of a varied programme of capital projects.
  • Manage projects from feasibility through to completion.
  • Oversee consultants, contractors and professional advisors.
  • Monitor programme performance, risk and budgets.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with legislation, governance and health & safety requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of wider estate strategies.
  • Manage and develop a small team of estate professionals.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Degree qualified in Construction, Project Management, Building Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience delivering complex construction or estate projects.
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong commercial and financial management capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
  • Professional membership such as RICS, CIOB or equivalent would be advantageous.
