Support a major public sector organisation in the recruitment of a Capital Project Manager to join their Estates team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a significant capital programme spanning new build, refurbishment and estate improvement projects across a diverse property portfolio. Working within a professional estates function, you will lead the delivery of multiple construction projects simultaneously, managing budgets, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Your new role:
- Lead the delivery of a varied programme of capital projects.
- Manage projects from feasibility through to completion.
- Oversee consultants, contractors and professional advisors.
- Monitor programme performance, risk and budgets.
- Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with legislation, governance and health & safety requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of wider estate strategies.
- Manage and develop a small team of estate professionals.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Degree qualified in Construction, Project Management, Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- Proven experience delivering complex construction or estate projects.
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong commercial and financial management capability.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
- Professional membership such as RICS, CIOB or equivalent would be advantageous.
