Hays is currently working with a partnership school located in Burscough who are seeking an experienced Nursery Teacher to start in January. This is a very welcoming school with a separate building for the nursery, and this school is easily accessible via public transport. This is a popular school within the community because of its commitment to children’s learning and development.
This job role will see you take on full teaching responsibilities for the nursery class, and you will be supported by 2 teaching assistants. The nursery is located in a separate building, so the school are looking for a committed and experienced individual who can manage a team. There are a few children with additional needs, so experience with SEN would be desirable. This role will be 5 days a week and will be commencing in January through until the end of the academic year.
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up-to-date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, be a good team player, have good time management and behaviour management skills. If you are not a qualified Teacher, but have recent experience working with children, we may have other roles available for you.
In return, you will be paid a competitive daily wage and holiday pay with the potential to be paid to scale from day one and will join a successful team where you will be provided with ongoing training and development. You will also join our Hays Refer a Friend Scheme, where you could be entitled to receiving £250 in high street vouchers.
