The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 Β£ per year.
The role is a core function within the IT Team, supporting the smooth running of IT across the company. You will work alongside the IT Service Lead and the wider team to deliver end-to-end IT support, ensuring that all colleagues receive a high-quality service and IT support.
Acting as a point of contact for IT issues for all colleagues. Logging all work requests on the internal ticketing system and keeping users up to date with tickets. You will work closely with the acquisition sites, undertaking visits where necessary for fault resolution and service requirements and providing expert IT support services, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues efficiently. Escalating tickets or issues to senior engineers/management where appropriate if the issue cannot be resolved internally and continuing to manage these escalated tickets. Liaising with 3rd Party companies to ensure computer and telephony systems and software are operating to agreed service levels. Supporting and maintaining key IT infrastructure, networks, and cloud-based systems, such as Office 365 and Azure AD. As well as the setup of computers, mobile devices and other peripherals. You will set up remote users' PC requirements including VPN connection, encryption, email, antivirus, and server access. Demonstrating access to remote users. Assisting the business with departmental and office moves as and where necessary. This will involve moving PCs and phones to new locations, reconfiguring links and testing performance to ensure smooth running of equipment and services. (This may include some out-of-hours work to minimise disruption).

- Demonstrable experience of handling a wide variety of IT issues in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong customer-focused approach with a positive and friendly mindset β capable of understanding customer needs.
- High level of attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Azure/365/Sharepoint/OneDrive, Microsoft Office and other software products.
- Experience and exposure to hardware such as firewalls, switches, storage arrays and printers.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management β mainly tablets and mobile phones.
- A solid understanding of LAN, WAN and VPN technologies.
