Your new role
In this HR Manager post, you will help shape and embed HR practices that support growth, engagement, and development across the business. This is a hands-on role, working closely with the Head of People to enable managers and employees to thrive. This will include playing a central role in creating scalable HR processes while championing the business culture. You’ll work closely with managers and employees to deliver meaningful outcomes through a focus on:
- Culture & Engagement: Champion and nurture company culture during rapid growth; support initiatives that enhance engagement and wellbeing.
- HR Operations & Process: Introduce and maintain scalable HR policies and frameworks; ensure compliance with UK employment law.
- Manager Support: Act as a trusted advisor on performance management, employee relations, and leadership coaching; manage contractor agreements and extensions.
- Learning & Development: Coordinate training programs and internal development initiatives; identify skills gaps and support career pathways.
- Onboarding: Partner with our TA team and Onboarding and HR Coordinator to deliver an exceptional new hire experience.
- Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate HR data; track metrics such as turnover, engagement, and training effectiveness.
What you'll need to succeed
- Someone who brings a mix of experience, curiosity, and collaboration.
- Proven experience as a (Senior) HR Advisor in a scaling, fast-paced environment (ideally a consultancy).
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Ability to balance cultural priorities with structure and process.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust quickly.
- Experience in performance management and employee relations.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously.
- Familiarity with HR systems and data reporting.
- Ideally, CIPD Level 5 qualified but not essential.
