An industry leading civil engineering main contractor operating across the UK, and occasionally mainland Europe. With over 50 years of experience, the company specialises in the design, construction, and delivery of complex projects, including:

  • Roads & Bridges
  • Earthworks & Land Reclamation
  • Flood Prevention & Marine Works
  • Water, Sewerage & Utilities
  • Wind Farms & Renewable Energy

You’ll be based from the Bristol office, reporting to the Environmental Manager. Main duties include:

  • Implementing ISO 14001 Management System
  • Implementing, monitoring and maintaining site water quality management arrangements
  • Ensuring cohesion with wider compliance requirements
  • Supporting and implementing CEMPs, SWMPs, environmental management plans and permitting procedures
  • Carrying out environmental monitoring for noise, dust, vibration, water sampling, etc.
  • Attending team meetings
  • Carrying out environmental audits and inspections

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • A degree in an environmental or related field
  • Experience with environmental management, including managing onsite environmental site inspections
  • Knowledge of water, dust, noise and waste implications on environmental projects
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
