Your new role
This is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, starting in April. You will work a 40‑hour week, with weekend working likely to be required every other weekend (time off scheduled mid‑week accordingly).
Key responsibilities include:
- Accurate data input and device allocation tracking
- Supporting unit pre‑delivery activity (late April/May) and camera unit delivery from June onwards.
- Configuring hardware, charging peripherals, and BWV camera units
- Managing firmware updates and troubleshooting software issues
- Connecting docks to secure networks (Ethernet, VLAN configuration)
- Coordinating with stakeholders including security, facilities, and IT teams
- Creating documentation, SOPs, and training materials
- Delivering user training and handling support incidents
- Ensuring compliance with legal frameworks and maintaining audit trails
What you'll need to succeed:
- A driving licence is essential as travel to multiple sites will form part of the role.
- Strong technical skills in hardware setup, configuration, and networking basics
- Experience with asset management, including inventory control and lifecycle management
- Ability to plan deployments across multiple sites with minimal disruption
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and train end‑users
- Knowledge of BWV camera technology is advantageous.
- Understanding of compliance and governance requirements around technology usage
- Willingness to undergo security clearance, which requires having lived and worked in the UK for a minimum of five years.
