A highly successful independent firm based in Blackpool is looking to appoint an Accounts Audit Senior. This role would sit alongside their Senior Leadership team and be able to successfully contribute to the continued growth of this firm.
As an Accounts Audit Senior, you’ll play a key role in leading audits from planning through to completion, preparing financial statements, and supporting junior staff. You’ll work closely with a varied portfolio of clients, including SMEs and owner-managed businesses, providing high-quality service and building lasting relationships.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork, and completion
- Prepare statutory accounts in compliance with UK GAAP
- Review work prepared by junior team members and provide mentorship
