Your new company Hays Education works closely with many schools across the South Birmingham area, providing teaching assistant support on a day-to-day and long-term basis. There is currently a high demand for SEN Teaching Assistants and jobs are available on a temporary and permanent basis. Working with Hays on a supply basis means that you can work the hours that suit you and your work/life balance.

Your new role Hays are currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to start immediately in the B12 area. These jobs are available on a part-time and long-term basis, which means you could be working from one term up to the whole academic year. Ideally, you will be available full-time. However, part-time options are also available. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be required to work with children of specific age groups on a 1:1 or small group basis.

What you'll need to succeed You must have SEN experience within a childcare environment, including schools, nurseries and social care settings. Ideally, you will have worked with children that are diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Global Delay and those that present challenging behaviours. You must be flexible and should you be successful in securing an SEN TA job, you will be committed to supporting the child for the length of time required.
