As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to handover. Working closely with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, and design teams, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with project planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Reviewing technical drawings and specifications.
  • Supporting procurement of materials and subcontractor packages.
  • Monitoring site progress and ensuring compliance with design and safety standards.
  • Attending site meetings and liaising with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Providing technical support and resolving on-site issues.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Previous experience in mechanical building services, ideally within a contracting environment.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and mechanical design principles.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
