You’ll be joining a well-established housing provider committed to delivering high-quality, customer-focused services across its communities. The organisation is dedicated to ensuring homes are re-let efficiently, customers receive an excellent service experience, and sustainable tenancies are created through strong partnership working.
As a Lettings Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the re-letting of properties, ensuring that homes are empty for the shortest time possible. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will contribute to exceptional customer service and smooth end-to-end lettings processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the Notice to Quit process and liaising with relevant teams and external agencies.
- Arranging pre-termination inspections and coordinating with operational teams.
- Preparing tenancy sign-up packs, including all required documentation.
- Issuing rent cards and updating tenancy and census records accurately.
- Supporting housing-related enquiries and maintaining consistent communication with customers.
- Managing administrative tasks such as procurement system updates, record-keeping, filing, and general office duties.
- Ensuring all data recorded is clear, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- Experience working in a busy office environment with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- A track record of meeting deadlines and delivering accurate work first time.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Understanding of lettings processes, housing law or different tenures (desirable).
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly with Word, Excel, Outlook and online portals.
