Location: Birmingham (Hybrid: 2–3 days in the office per week)

Salary: £40,000 per annum + Bonus

I am recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation for an experienced Indirect Buyer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering hybrid working, a competitive benefits package and the opportunity to support a high-performing procurement function.

The Indirect Buyer will play a key part in managing procurement activity across a range of indirect spend categories, supporting value delivery, cost efficiency, and supplier performance. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and the Head of Procurement to lead sourcing projects, negotiate commercial agreements, and ensure suppliers align with organisational standards.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing projects for indirect goods and services.
  • Manage supplier relationships and oversee contract performance.
  • Conduct commercial negotiations to secure best value.
  • Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, and industry standards.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements across the procurement function.
