Hays Education Wirral is a market-leading recruitment agency supporting primary schools across the Wirral Local Authority. We are currently working with a Birkenhead primary school to recruit a KS2 teacher to take on part-time class teaching responsibilities with their Year 5 class.
This role involves class teaching responsibilities including long-term planning and marking, starting in January until the end of the academic year.
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective KS2 lessons to students.
- Assess and mark students' work, providing constructive feedback.

- A minimum of 2 months' teaching experience in the past 4 years (this can include university placements).
- You must have the right to work in the UK.
- You must have a PGCE, QTS or QTLS.
- If you don't have a PGCE, QTS, QTLS or recent teaching experience, you can register as a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor, provided you have worked with children for 1 month in the past 4 years.
