Your new company Hays Education Wirral is a market leading recruitment agency supporting primary schools across the Wirral Local Authority. We are currently working with a Wirral-based Primary School to recruit an EYFS teacher to take on full class teaching responsibilities with their F2 class.
Your new role The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons in accordance with the EYFS including phonics, literacy, and maths as well as social and emotional development. You will also be responsible for assessing the pupils’ and tracking the pupil's progress and development. They will need to build and maintain a caring and nurturing environment where all children are encouraged to flourish, whilst setting them high expectations on what they can achieve. Vital to the role will be preparing the pupils for the next stage in their education and lives beyond the school.
What you'll need to succeed To apply for this role, you must be passionate and driven, with a strong desire to be a successful teacher. You must meet the below core criteria:
- A minimum of 2 months' teaching experience in the past 4 years (this can include university placements).
- You must have the right to work in the UK.
- You must have a PGCE, QTS or QTLS.
- If you don't have a PGCE, QTS, QTLS or recent teaching experience, you can register as a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor, provided you have worked with children for 1 month in the past 4 years.
