Your new role
As Finance and Administration Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the operational functions of the organisation.
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of finance and administrative duties that underpin the organisation’s fundraising, grant-making, and public engagement activities.
Your responsibilities will include: Finance
Duties
- Processing invoices and payments using Liberty accounting software
- Tracking donations and pledges, and managing bank lodgements
- Monitoring online donation platforms
- Preparing financial reports and departmental analysis
- Maintaining the asset register and financial filing systems
Administrative Duties
- Weing visitors and supporting meeting setups
- Upholding organisational policies and procedures
- Providing general administrative support across departments
This is a varied and hands-on role that requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. What you'll need to succeed
- To be considered, you’ll need to meet the following essential criteria:
• - Either
- :2 A-levels (or equivalent) plus 2 years’ experience using accounting software OR
- 3 years’ experience using accounting software
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or above)
- Strong written and verbalmunication skills, including a professional telephone manner
- Proven ability to work methodically with high attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Full driving licence and access to transport for work purposes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook
Desirable
