Your new company Hays are working with a fast-growing FMCG business supplying premium branded products to retailers across Ireland. The company has seen significant growth in recent years and now requires a Commercial Manager to support their next phase of expansion.
Your new role You will lead the sales and purchasing functions, working closely with suppliers and major ROI convenience retailers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing key accounts
- Negotiating pricing and promotions
- Overseeing product listings and pricing accuracy
- Protecting margin performance
- Managing stock levels
- Introducing new ranges
- Maximising revenue opportunities
- Leading a small commercial team and working closely with senior leadership.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Strong experience in a similar commercial or sales management role
- FMCG background with exposure to ROI convenience retailers
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
- Good numerical and analytical ability
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in food distribution is desirable
- Ability to start quickly is an advantage.
