Your new role

As an Associate Director in Electrical Engineering, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering transformational programmes for the water sector. You’ll lead electrical engineering design and delivery, set quality standards, and ensure technical excellence across the full project lifecycle – from concept design through to construction support. Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage teams delivering electrical design to UK and industry standards.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Chartered Electrical Engineer with significant leadership experience.
  • Extensive background in design delivery for LV and HV systems, MCCs/switchgear, industrial/process installations, HAZOP assessments, DSEAR/ATEX compliance, SLD/BCD production, earthing and bonding.
  • Strong understanding of UK water industry standards and experience working on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Open to professionals with combined expertise such as Water + Nuclear or Water + Oil & Gas, bringing transferable skills and sector knowledge.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and complex project lifecycles.
