Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)? Hays Education is urgently seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in Barnsley. We have immediate placements available and welcome applications from candidates currently working with other agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with SEN in their educational and personal development.
- Assisting teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students.
- Helping with classroom management and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- ESSENTIAL: Previous experience working with children, ideally those with SEN.
- OPTIONAL: Experience working within healthcare or care work.
- A passionate and patient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (preferred but not essential).
