Your new role
- Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Support: Manage purchase orders, assist with supplier research, maintain vendor records, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Stock Management: Ensure optimal stock levels, coordinate timely replenishments, and support smooth operations.
- Data & Reporting: Update systems with accurate data, prepare reports on purchasing and stock performance, and use insights to improve processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas to streamline procurement and stock workflows, and participate in problem-solving initiatives.
- Team Collaboration: Build strong relationships, bring energy to the role, and work closely with colleagues and suppliers to achieve shared goals.
What you’ll need to succeed
- 3–5 years’ experience in procurement, buying, or stock control
- Strong data and reporting skills with an analytical mindset
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret information and make informed decisions
- Familiarity with inventory or purchasing systems (Microsoft BC is a plus)
- Continuous improvement mindset and proactive approach
