Hays are working with a Tunbridge Wells studio, assisting them to find an experienced Architectural Technician to join their close-knit team. The studio covers a full design and build service with a portfolio of one-off high-quality homes dotted around Kent and Sussex. They cover Grand Designs-style new builds to sensitive barn conversions, extensions, and refurbishments. They currently have an opening for an experienced technician who is looking for a small but professional practice to call home.
Core Duties
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for bespoke residential projects using CAD software.
- Assist in developing design concepts and translating them into accurate construction documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent and technical accuracy.
- Produce planning and building regulation drawings and manage submissions to local authorities.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather measurements and verify design feasibility.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with relevant building codes and standards.
