This role is within a renowned banking institution with a strong and longstanding presence across Asia and other key international markets. The position forms part of the core operations function, supporting essential financial processes and contributing to the smooth delivery of daily banking activities. It involves working within an established framework, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards while supporting broader business objectives.

Your new role

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly Head Office reports.
  • Prepare the daily LCR report.
  • Daily G.L. account reconciliations.
  • Prepare invoice entries and enter supplier payments through the Faster Payment system.
  • Authorise daily T24 entries.
  • Prepare Quarterly VAT Returns for all branches and subsidiaries.
  • Monthly and Quarterly BoE Reporting.
  • Update Daily Bank Reconciliations, clearing outstanding items.
  • Pass daily entries for Debit Cards.
  • Confirm payment of Lloyds Clearing Cheques.
  • Provide support to staff regarding daily operational work.
  • Reply to any ad hoc queries received from other departments.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank.
  • Carry out duties with high integrity.
  • Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor risks involved in day‑to‑day work.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 3 years' experience in Banking (Preferable) or Financial Markets is a necessity.
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA Part-Qualified/Finalist or Equivalent AND a Bookkeeping Certificate.
  • Good problem‑solving skills.
  • Excel Skills (Necessity) and PowerBI (Preferable).
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritise.
  • Good communication skills, Attention to detail and Quick learning.
  • Fluent in English language.
