We are partnering with a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation to recruit a talented Electronic Engineer to join their growing Design Engineering team.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Product Design and Development, you will play a key role in the analysis, design, development, and continuous improvement of innovative electronic products. This is an exciting opportunity to work with new and emerging technologies, contributing directly to the organisation's growth and product evolution.

Working alongside Principal and Senior Engineers, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering outputs, including:

  • Schematics and PCB designs
  • Simulations and technical calculations
  • Technical specifications and engineering drawings
  • Bills of materials and user documentation

You will support engineering change and approval processes while ensuring robust and compliant designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the full product life cycle across an existing product portfolio
  • Manage design updates, component obsolescence, cost optimisation, and reliability improvements
  • Support project delivery through planning, scheduling, and risk management
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and product teams
  • Apply Design for Manufacture and Test (DfM / DfT) principles to enhance product quality and build efficiency.
