Essex - Travel to different sites included. Salary - Negotiable DOE. Monday - Friday days.

Your new role: You will be joining a nationally known aerospace manufacturing business who, due to continuous growth and a gap in the team, are seeking an experienced engineering-based group training instructor to design, develop, deliver and assess development programmes and apprenticeships that support the development of skills, competence and future talent across the business. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Design and develop structured development programmes and apprenticeships.
  • Prepare, coordinate and schedule structured development programmes, apprenticeships and associated training activities.
  • Review and monitor learner progress, performance, attendance and timekeeping against agreed development objectives and programme requirements, providing day-to-day guidance, coaching and support.
  • Manage structured development programmes, apprenticeships and associated training activities.
  • Collaborate with Supervisors / line Managers to support learner development and identify training needs, providing feedback and recommendations based on programme delivery and learner progress.

Experience & Skills needed:

  • Previous experience and qualifications within Mechanical engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience of designing, developing, coordinating, delivering and assessing structured development programmes and/or apprenticeships.
  • Experience of coaching, mentoring and supporting learners, apprentices or employees.
  • CAD experience and knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and explain technical engineering drawings.
  • Strong organisation and administrative skills.
